Green Minds Drive Green Transition
Do you have an idea for an app that can make a real difference in the green transition? EMDFonden invites students and recent graduates to participate in a competition to develop innovative app solutions that reduce resource consumption and environmental impact.
What can you win?
The total prize pool is DKK 250.000:
- prize: DKK 150.000 to realize the idea
- prize: DKK 75.000 to refine the idea
- prize: DKK 25.000 to refine the idea
Who can participate?
The competition is open to all students in their 9th-10th semester and recent graduates from Danish universities, particularly within:
- Energy systems
- Building management
- Cleantech
- Biotechnology
- Information technology
- And related fields
You can participate individually or as a group across different study programs and universities.
How to participate?
To participate, you must submit an application describing your app idea, its green potential, marketing strategy, and implementation plan. The participation form will guide you through relevant questions.
Participation deadline: 29 april 2025
The EMDFonden selection committee will shortlist the five best ideas, which will be presented to the board at the foundation’s strategy day in June 2025. The final decision will be made here, and the winners will be announced.
